A Dorset-based food bank, originally known as Blandford Food Bank, embarked on an ambitious expansion to better serve their community. Their vision included a new food shop, offering affordable essentials and treats to those facing financial hardship, supplementing their existing food bank services. Recognizing the need for a fresh identity that encompassed this broader mission, they embraced the name “Nourish,” a warm and inviting moniker that resonated with their compassionate approach.
We had the privilege of partnering with Nourish to develop a comprehensive brand strategy that captured their unique spirit and commitment to fostering community. Through collaborative workshops and insightful discussions, we delved into their values and aspirations, resulting in a meaningful tagline, “A community larder and food bank,” that eloquently communicated their dual role. Building upon this foundation, we crafted a thoughtfully designed logo that visually embodied their welcoming ethos, incorporating elements that symbolised nourishment, support, and togetherness. The final brand identity not only reflected Nourish’s expanded services but also reinforced their unwavering dedication to empowering those in need.
We designed a friendly and welcoming logo, that works on several levels. From an initial view you see shopping bag icon, but on further inspection you notice the smiling face. Taking inspiration from the colours of the food bank itself we used a warm and welcoming orange, combined with a fresh and health green.
We produced this logo in several layouts meaning that there is a logo available for every situation.
To help the team keep their marketing output consistent, we also produced brand guidelines that are easy enough for even the least design minded person to use.
To finish off we created a selection of signage, for the store itself, as well as banners that could be transported to various events.
Overall the team was extremely happy with the finished product.
